Refund policy

Returns

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. This is valid only for unopened and undamaged packages. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase from figarve.ca or figarve.com. To start a return, you can contact us at service@figarve.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that it will be refunded upon return only in the amount of its total price after deducting the return shipping fees. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return questions at service@figarve.com.

If your order is returned to us for any of the following reasons such as; incorrect/incomplete/undeliverable address, order refused by the customer for any reason (excluding damaged products), we will not refund your payment. Please do not reject the whole order if it contains a damaged item. Send an email to service@figarve.com together with a photo of the damaged item and the price of this item will be refunded. Should you reject the order, it will be refunded upon return only in the amount of its total price after deducting the return shipping fees. 

We will not refund if the order is returned due to no one being available to accept the delivery. Should any corrections need to be made to any incorrect shipping information at the fault of the customer, and delivery re-attempted, a standard fee of $21.90+HST (or as charged by the courier) will be added to your payment and charged to the method used for the purchase.

Please note that we will only pay for a return label if a product arrived damaged or was shipped in error. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for the shipping costs. Please note that a product is required to be returned for a refund to be issued. Sometimes we might be able to issue a refund based on a photo confirmation of product damage. We don't accept returns of the following items; any opened items, all grocery products, perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders and personalized items), special day gift items, health and personal care goods (such as beauty products), baby care products.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and if the item is defective and damaged, take a photo of the damaged item and forward to us by sending an email to service@figarve.com within 24 hours after the parcel is delivered. A damaged product has to be returned to us in order for a refund to be processed. We will carefully read your email and review the photo of the damaged item and send you a return label once the damage is confirmed. Please send clear photos of the contents of each damaged product. Once the item is received, we will inspect the product and issue a refund as applicable. Do not dispose/eat/consume the damaged product. Please note that if the product is not available, we will not be able to re-ship it and in this case, a gift card will be applied with the same amount of the original order.  

Once a parcel is considered safely delivered by the courier, the responsibility for the package transfers to the customer. Parcels that are delivered safely, and are stolen after, are not eligible for reimbursement through our claims process. At that point, you will be limited to the eligibility for reimbursement based on the courier’s claims process, which we will be happy to assist you with.

Important note: if you notice mold-colored substances inside any figs, do not eat or consume, take a photo and forward it to service@figarve.com directly.

Exceptions / Non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, discount code applied orders or gift cards. Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders and personalized items), special day gift items, and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch with us at service@figarve.com if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Crystallization might occur on the skin of our figs, we do not accept returns due to crystallization and this is proof that our product is natural and that we do not dip our product into chemicals during the sanitizing collected from you.process.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 30 calendar days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

By ordering products on Figarve.com or Figarve.ca customer accepts all terms and items of policies announced on Figarve.com and Figarve.ca website.

Warning: Pay close attention to what your baby and/or child put in his or her mouth. Watch your baby and/or child at all times while he or she is eating any type of food (including dried fruits) that might cause choking. Always make sure that your child consumes any type of food including dried fruits, figs, Figarve products under your supervision and that they are accompanied at all times. It is at your own risk to consume Figarve products. Figarve will not be responsible for choking of any consumers including adults, children, babies and will not be responsible for any hazards related to eating/consuming our products and/or any health-related problems caused by eating and/or consuming any Figarve products.
